Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about Batch File Shipping.

Yes, your data is fully secure. All files are processed in our cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We do not store your shipping data longer than necessary for the conversion process, and you can delete your data at any time from your account settings.
Batch File Shipping is currently optimized for the UPS batch import format. We are actively exploring support for additional carriers including FedEx and USPS. If you have a specific carrier request, please reach out to us at hello@batchfileshipping.com.
Templates save your column-mapping configuration. When you first upload a file, you map each column in your order sheet (e.g., “Customer Name”, “Address”) to the corresponding UPS batch field. Once saved as a template, you can reuse this mapping for all future files with the same layout—no need to remap every time.
We support a wide range of file formats including Excel (.xlsx, .xls), CSV (comma-separated values), TSV (tab-separated values), and TXT (text files with custom delimiters). You can upload files with any column layout and use our template builder to map them to the UPS batch format.
The free plan includes 5 file conversions per month, up to 3 saved templates, and 50 SKU entries for package attribution.
